We are following the Ministry of Health instructions, and providing a licensed General Pediatric to check our little ones on a monthly basis and give us some advices on how to keep up the highest safety standards.
Our full time nurse and professional teaching staff are being aware and looking out for the warning signs of illness, and putting preventative precautions in place within each of our settings.
We educate all of the children and encourage them to follow the Hygiene basics, like regular hand washing, covering their mouths when they cough, and disposing of their tissues hygienically. In addition, we do assure that all hard surfaces and hand contact points are cleaned and disinfected daily with an appropriate cleaner and that antibacterial soap and alcohol gel is available at all times.
As with all illnesses, the best way to avoid outbreaks at nurseries and schools is to ensure that children displaying the symptoms of flu are kept at home to help reduce the risk of infection to others.
If you suspect that your child may have flu, it is important that they stay at home under observation, and to take them to the doctor when needed.
